Teaching Methods

As we know from experience, teaching is most effective when a variety of teaching methods are used. For this reason, we introduce vocabulary and grammar at the same time in connection with a given theme, utilising a variety of active teaching methods such as role playing, games and fun activities. We also use multi-media materials including internet-based text and listening materials. This variety allows us to turn learning into a fun activity with learning occurring almost subconsciously which is even more effective.

The course programme is divided into themes such as telephone conversations, in the restaurant, at the airport and train stations, in the shop, asking for directions, hotel dialogues etc.

In the class we focus on developing communication and listening skills while at home students practise writing, reading and grammar.
