The main goal of the course is to broaden the vocabulary and introduce increasingly more complex grammatical structures in order to allow students to more actively and accurately communicate.
The course programme of this course will introduce the functional vocabulary necessary to get by in the following situations::
- Describing someone - character features, comparing, expressing opinions
- Personal letters
- Work, work schedule, salary, work conditions
- Making generalisations, discussions
- Dates - a persons life from birth to death
- Expressing positives and negatives emotions - hope, fear, terror, anxiety
- School, education, qualifications, courses
- Life in town - architecture, infrastructure, shops, state offices, services, amusements
- Life in the countryside - the natural environment
- Expressing wishes, expectations, obligations, assumptions
- Family, marriage, divorce, couples, love, jealousy, family relationships
- Friendships, relations with other people
